My name is Ashley Sims and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. I offer Teletherapy services to individual clients ages 18 and up that live in Ohio. I adhere to the highest ethical standards to ensure your privacy and well-being, and use evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and more.

I received my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University in 2020, giving me five years of experience in the field. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and understood. I customize my approach to align with your specific goals and comfort level. Therapy is a collaborative process; if at any point you feel the method being used is not a proper fit, feel free to share that with me, and we can adjust the treatment plan together or discuss referrals.

While I welcome and work with people from all backgrounds, I offer Christian counseling for those who desire a faith-based approach. This means we can explore life’s challenges through a Christian worldview, integrating Biblical principles with research-backed techniques. I have been a Christian for 34 years, and I recognize that simply being a Christian does not exempt anyone from having a mental illness. Jesus was called the "Wonderful Counselor," and I promise to look to Him for guidance as we work through challenges together.
